About Us
SMACNA Colorado
The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) Colorado Chapter was established in 1983, when the Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo Chapters merged to form one statewide association. SMACNA Colorado represents over 50 Contractor Members and 25 Associate Members who manufacture and supply our Contractors with equipment and materials.
SMACNA Colorado was formed to foster the advancement of the Sheet Metal Industry through cooperation and through disseminating valuable information to Contractors, Manufacturers, Vendors, and pertinent individuals and organizations outside our industry, such as legislators and educators. The Statewide Association and its Contractor Members establish and promote high standards of workmanship across the state, and promote harmonious relations among Members and with SMART Local 9, which represents our Sheet Metal Workers. The Association also guides efforts to adapt to a changing industry and a changing economy, ensuring that Members and Trustees of the various funds and committees that lead the industry have all of the necessary studies and data to make informed decisions about the future of the Sheet Metal Industry.
SMACNA Colorado produces a yearly HVAC+R Equipment & Product Directory which contains a comprehensive guide to all Contractor Members and Associate Members product and service catalogs. We have Regional Holiday Parties for all Contractor and Associate Members, along with a number of Member Events, including complimentary Rockies games and Axe Throwing events. Membership with SMACNA Colorado also grants membership with SMACNA National, and entitles Contractor and Associate Members to all Education, Training, and Development Opportunities made available by the National Association.
